What this measures
Mental-health symptoms are the leading cause of disability globally (WHO, 2024). The GAD-7 and PHQ-9 are the same screening forms primary-care doctors use during a 15-minute visit. They are validated against structured psychiatric interviews and translated into more than 90 languages.
