Most of the checking done in this app is done on somebody else’s behalf. One shared list mixes your vitamins in with your mother’s blood pressure tablets, and in an interaction checker a mixed list is not untidy — it is a wrong answer. Give each person their own.
This stays on this device
There is no account, no sign-in and no server behind this app. What you type below is written into this browser’s own storage on this phone or computer, it is never uploaded, and nobody — us included — can read it. Delete someone and they are gone from the only place they ever existed.
The honest other half of that: there is no backup either. Clearing this browser’s data takes the list with it, and no one can restore it for you.

What choosing someone does
The person you pick is written down where the rest of the app can read it, so a tool knows whose list it should be working on.
What switching actually does: the doctor report, the supplement timing tool, the recall check, the supplement label check and the symptom triage all read whoever is selected here, so each person keeps their own list and their medicines are screened as theirs. Every screening tool keeps its saved results per person too. Switching never moves or deletes anything. Two things it does not do. The Herb–Drug Interaction Checker holds no stored list at all — you type into it and it answers — so there is nothing there for a profile to change. And the first person on this list keeps the data that already existed on this device, which is deliberate: giving them a new key would have made every existing user’s list vanish.
Keeping someone’s list separate makes the checks about the right person. It does not make the answer right for them. Pregnancy, liver and kidney function, age, and every medicine they have been prescribed all change what is safe, and this app can only see what has been typed into it.
